The “No Sleep Til Texas” DVD trailer A “generational” DVD as seen through the eyes of the artists
Director of Photography: Christopher Proctor, Osprey Films Directed by Willy Braun. This unprecedented DVD presents the festival from a unique and infrequent point of view: the musicians’. It’s the MusicFest in all its glory, with snow cat adventures, stunt skiing, dog sledding, and more. Then of course there’s the virtual backstage pass into the festival’s incredible lineup of music, with performances, artist interviews, and literally the “behind the behind-the-scenes moments” of MusicFest. It’s organized film chaos of the highest quality, with never before witnessed jams and exclusive access into the weeklong festivities and antics of MusicFest. Reckless Kelly’s Cody Braun and Robert Earl Keen make Bloody Mary’s in a choice segment, and interviews are conducted everywhere and with everyone from Hayes Carll to Ray Wylie Hubbard, from Shiner Bock’s Paul Paynter to festival founder John Dickson. So many people the list is too long to put here, but we do have room to tell you that you won’t want to miss the one-of-a-kind footage from the slopes, the condos, the stages, the jams, and the behind the scenes backstage moments. No writing, sets, stuntmen, or airbrushing, just musician directors, editors, and cinematographers not missing a moment of the MusicFest action. Thanks to ME Television for also providing some of their fabulous footage. Stay tuned for info on how to get your copy! |
